"Statement of Faith"

We are Christians

We recognize that the Bible is God's Word.  There is only one true authentic God and His story is accurately presented by the Bible.  All of the false religions are merely cultural opinions that disagree with the Bible.  All of the false religions reject parts and pieces of the Bible of God's Word.  Only the Christians believe in the truth of the whole Bible, therefore only the Christians believe in God.  Christianity is not one belief among several faiths; Christianity is the belief in the truth of God.  When we believe in and accept Jesus for the forgiveness of our sins, we do not create Jesus; He was there all along whether we believed in him or not.  Likewise, when we reject Jesus, we do not kill him and he does not disappear; God patiently waits for us even when we reject Jesus.

The Bible tells us of sins, forgiveness and salvation and that the only way to have salvation is to ask Jesus for the forgiveness of our sins; this is called Righteous and Justified.   When this happens, we transition from a destiny aimed at eternity in hell to an eternity in heaven with salvation.  This is often described as leaving our old selves behind and starting our new lives; our old self dies and our new self starts (is born); we are born again.  When we start our new lives, this does not mean that we will never sin again.  We will sin again because we are still human.  Instead when we sin again, these sins will never put us back to the un-forgiven state since our future sins are also forgiven.  This doesn't mean that we are free to commit any sin with no consequence, instead when we sin as forgiven, new, righteous people, we feel sorrow for our new sins and with maturity ask for strength in the areas that we are weak in and earnestly try to not repeat these sins again; this is called Sanctification.  In our new lives we stay in the Sanctified state until our death.

The Bible tells us that if we ignore sins, then the consequence of un-forgiven sins is judgment and eternity in hell with the un-forgiven, unbelievers, mockers and "good people".

The irony of Hell is that people put themselves there; GOD DID NOT PUT THEM THERE; they did it to themselves!  A hallmark of the false religions is to lie to people and to tell them that they do not have sins, there is no consequence of sins, there is no hell and that they instead just need to be 51% or more good.

Given all of this, and in this context and more, we have accepted Jesus for the forgiveness of our sins; we are new forgiven beings and salvation is granted.  We still sin by accident or by poor choices, we try to not sin and we ask for strength in areas that we are weak in but these new sins will never put us back to the un-forgiven state.  We have been Justified; now we are Sanctified.

It isn't a Club that You Join

Christianity is for all people, it does not exclude people; it includes all people.  All people are welcome to become Christians; Christianity does not exclude anyone.

Think about it, before the Christians were Christian, they were pagan unbelievers.  Over time we came to believe in God and his Word.  Since we were taught by Christian leaders, our faith and foundation grew and matured to the point where we could accept Jesus for the forgiveness of our sins; this is when God granted us salvation.  In this way, only the Christians have salvation.

Christianity isn't a club that you join where God will someday choose from the group.  All of the false religions miss this point.  All of the false religions make you choose their religion, then once you are in, then someday their god may or may not choose you; none of them are sure if they are chosen or not.  All of the false religions say that the Christians are so arrogant, "Those Christians think that God will only choose from their group and will reject all of the other groups."  This is a tragic twist of words.  Christianity isn't a group that God chooses from; instead it is a group who chose God.  God does not reject all groups who reject Him; instead he patiently waits for them to accept him.  But they have to do it before they die; to accept God you have to be living, you cannot wait until after you die.

All of the false religions are focused on first joining a group rather than finding out who God is first.  Those who join the wrong group will never find out who God is.  Those who focus on learning about God will always find out who God is.  Once people find out who God is then they will ask for the forgiveness of their sins and then they BECOME a Christian; they did not JOIN Christianity to get salvation.

Only the Christians Believe in and Accept God

All of the false religions hate this statement, but it is the truth.  All of the false religions only claim to believe in "some kind" of god.  They got tricked into false teachings by false prophets who do not know who the One True God is, instead they were taught about a false god.  Therefore it follows that the false religions do not believe in God; how can they believe in a God who they do not know?  How can they know God and yet not accept Him for the forgiveness of their sins?  They can't!  Therefore it makes sense that only the Christians believe in and accept God, the rest of the false religions reject God.

This is not a discriminatory, excluding statement; it is not saying that no one else is allowed.  Instead it is a awake up call!  If your first priority was to seek out a religion rather than to find out whom the One True God is, then you did it wrong and you need to wake up!  You need to get out, you need to step back and reset.  You need to do it over again.  This time seek the truth, this time start with the Bible, Gods Word.  If you want to know God then it makes sense to read God's Word.  Do you read a book on car repair if you want to prepare a tax return?  Of course not!   Once you find out who God is then you will ask Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins.  He will forgive you and your salvation will be granted; you will be Righteous; you have BECOME a Christian.  As a Christian then you will then become Sanctified when you feel remorse for your new sins.

Before I became a Christian, I was just a good person going to Church.  This did not make me a Christian.  Attending Church does not make us Christian.  Over time I was taught Christianity by Christians and I learned more and more about the Bible, sins, forgiveness and salvation eventually to the point where I accepted Jesus for the forgiveness of my sins; at this point I became Justified and was granted salvation.  Now I am Sanctified, which means that I am growing in maturity and responsibility in the weak areas that are causing new sins.

You see that God's Word is for everyone, even for the unbelievers and non-Christians just like I was!  You can see that unbelievers, non-Christians can become Christians.  You can become Christian!

You see, Christians are not excluding you they are including you, right here, right now; all of the people who were led astray by the false religions!
