"Major Religions"

Do Each of the Major Religions point to their OWN God?

Before we get into the Major Religions we have to answer the question, "How many major gods are there?"  There are six or seven major religions, so are there six or seven major gods?  How many gods are there?  How many of these can be real, true creator gods?  Let’s think about this.  Let’s set a hypothesis, "There are six or seven major gods and each religion has a separate god of their own."  This hypothesis is very weak and lame and it can be disproven very easily.

The word "God" by definition means all knowing, all powerful, creator God of everything so if we have seven gods then each one is 1/7th knowing, 1/7th powerful and 1/7th creator.  There we go, that was easy!  If there are multiple gods then they are each inferior to a One True God.  If there are multiple gods when who created the inferior gods?  Why would a superior God create inferior gods who each take credit away from the superior God?

Why would the 7 inferior gods all happen to get along?  One god made air but another other god made land and another made the oceans and another made gravity.  Now the air is stuck to the ground, now the ground god is mad at the air god because the air is touching the ground.  The sea god made the sea but it is touching the land, wouldn't the land god be angry with the sea god?  Are all of the gods angry with each other or did they all sign a peace treaty?  So you see the hypothesis is ridiculous, there are not multiple gods; there can only be one True Creator God.

Do Each of the Major Religions point to the Same One God?

Do each of the major religions point to the same one god or to different gods?  Let’s think this through.  Let’s take the first hypothesis, "Each of the major religions point to the same one god."  Ok, this won't take long.  So God told the Judaists that Jesus was just a good teacher but he told the Christians that Jesus is his son!  God gave us the Bible for us to know Him, but this isn't good enough for the Judaists, since the core of Judaism is the Talmud and Torah, not the Bible.

God told the Muslims that Abraham's covenant went to Ishmael, but the Bible says that the Covenant went to Isaac.  God told the Muslims that after 570 years of Christianity spreading since the Disciples started (approximately) in 30 A.D. that they need a new prophet, Mohammed, in the year 600, but the Bible says that God's Word is complete with Jesus' teachings and the Disciples spreading the Great Commission.

After 1800 years of God's word spreading through Christianity, since the time of the Disciples in the year 30 A.D. to 1830, God told the Mormons that they need a new prophet, Joseph Smith, but God told us in the Bible that His Word is complete with Jesus' teachings.

Therefore if we believe the hypothesis, then we would have to say that God is confused, changed his story, contradicts himself and is a deceiver and a liar.  Therefore we can see that this hypothesis is ridiculous, incorrect and is flat out wrong; this however is a popular lie proposed by the secularists.  Therefore we can conclude that all of the religions point to different gods.  The problem with different gods is that only one is the True, Creator God and the rest are just created by man-made religions that reject God to form their own social club.

Now We are Ready

Now that we know that there is only One True Creator God and that all of the major religions point to different gods and that the Christians are the only ones who believe in the truth of the God of the Bible and the rest of the religions reject God to form their own false gods, now we are ready to look at each of the major religions individually.

Not Judging

These writings are not judging; only Jesus will Judge after the Second Coming.  The word Judging is often misused when people explain why a theological teaching is correct or incorrect.   Compared to the Bible's teachings, various theological points can be evaluated to see if they are correct or not.  The point of highlighting incorrect teachings and misinterpretations is so that the people and institutions can change their ways and to teach correctly, to teach Biblically.  However people are judging when they say, "All of those people who go to institution xyz are all going to hell."  This is judging because it is not allowing for the institution to change its teachings, it is not considering that some of the members are real Christians despite the false and misleading teachings, it does not account for people who are actively petitioning the institution to change their teachings, and it does not allow people time to make up their minds and to change to a Church that teaches sound Biblical doctrine.  Again the point of these writings is to not judge, but to point out false and misleading interpretations and teachings that contradict the Bible's teachings so that the leaders and congregations can hold its leaders accountable and to teach correctly and Biblically.

Creation

In the Beginning God created everything: the earth, sun, moon, stars, galaxies, planets; the universe.  He also created water, seas, land, atmosphere, plants, animals and mankind.  In the Garden of Eden God showed Himself directly to Adam and Eve, they lived together before sin.  Then Adam and Eve disobeyed God and ate the fruit from the forbidden tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.  They were banished from the Garden to prevent them from eating the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Everlasting Life.  They were banished from the Garden, but they were still very blessed, God gave them the ability to conquer the master rest of the world: to use their minds for language, government, medical, engineering, however there will be pain, toil, disease, famine, natural disasters and strife to keep the humans busy and challenged.  Also Satan was given dominion on the earth to tempt the humans.  Adam and Eve had many other children, not just Cain, Abel and Seth.  Adam and Eves children married and that generation had many children.  The next generation married and they had many children; this occurred over and over again, generation after generation, until there were many large cities, settlements and towns.

Noah

From Adam and Eve's time to Noah's time we have little information on how God showed Himself to the people.  All that the Bible tells us is that the whole earth was sinning against God except for Noah and his family.  Noah, his wife, their three sons and their wives and children were righteous in God's eyes.  They were righteous because they believed in God and rejected the false gods and the lies of Satan and because they asked for forgiveness of their sins.  The rest of mankind either rejected God to follow false idols or were sinning against God.  They knew who God was, but they rejected having a relationship with Him; they did not care enough to ask God for the forgiveness of their sins and chose the consequence of having no salvation.  Either way the rest of mankind were pagans: idol worshipers, mockers, secularists, atheists, Devil worship, etc.  The Flood killed all of mankind except for Noah and his family.  After the Flood, Noah and his family repopulated the earth over many generations much like Adam and Eve did.  Little is written in the Bible during this time; however we can imagine that portions of Noah's descendants were righteous while others chose paganism.

Abraham

From Noah's time down to Abraham's time there were many generations spanning many centuries.  God chose Abraham to make a Covenant with him.   God chose Abraham (Abram) because he was righteous (he believed in God, rejected the false gods and asked for the forgiveness of his sins).  God's Covenant with Abraham is that if he and his family and offspring reject the false gods, believe only in the One True God then they will be blessed so much that they will turn into a nation (there will be many healthy offspring and many generations and they will grow in number until they turn into a nation).  Abraham's Covenant was passed on by God and by Abraham to Isaac and then it was passed onto Jacob (Israel).  The Bible tells us that Ishmael and Esau both received good blessings, but they did NOT receive the Covenant Blessing; the Covenant Blessing went to Isaac and then to Jacob.

In-work, more to come on this …
