Your answer was incorrect from a Christian perspective, please review and select the Reason that best fits you.
This is a Christian Quiz, it tests your knowlege of Christianity. If you were taught Christianity by secularist sources then you will get most of the answers wrong. The only ones who can teach Christianity correctly are Christians; if you were taught Christianity by a Christian then you will get many of these answers correct.
If you still insist that you are right then I challenge you to look at the credentials of the person, institution or "Church" who tried to teach you Christianity, because they failed you.
Which Reason best describes you? What led to your wrong answer?
Reason 1) I am Christian, but unfortunately our Church didn't teach this level of detail about this subject.
Reason 2) I have not read the whole Bible myself yet, therefore I do not know if this information is in the Bible or not.
Reason 3) You may have received good grades in your high school and college courses in "Theology", "Biblical Philosophy", "Biblical Studies", "Hebrew Studies", "Religious Studies", "Near East Regilions", "First Century Religions", "Contemporary Religion", "New Age Religion", etc., however if the teachers were not Christians themselves, then they are unable to correctly teach you anything about Christianity, instead they taught you secularism; this is why you are getting these questions wrong. Does this reason best describe your situation?
Reason 4) There are other religions that purport to be "Just-like the Christians"; they even use the Christian Bible and they even use "Jesus" and "Christ" in the titles of their "Churches". It doesnt take long for most people to realize that these are not Christian churches when they replace the Bible with a different book (like Mormon, Watchtower, Scientology, etc.). Does this best describe you? Did you join to learn about Christianity when suddenly they switched books?
Reason 5) Catholic churches are much better since the Protestant Reformation, however there can be remnants of systemic, heretical doctrines like: Any and all, prior, current and future Popes are like God; Mary is the "Mother of God"; Priests can teach secularism; you ask the "father" / priest for the forgiveness of your sins, not Jesus; your sins are only forgiven for one week, then you have to ritually come back each week; any sins of the clergy and be hidden and erased, "forgiven" even if it concerns child sexual abuse, child rape, child sodomy, child molestation, child porn and pedophile Priests.
If you are attending a Catholic Church be sure to ask the clergy, leadership and members tough and awkward questions about past accusations and the outcome. If they can not give clear answers on policy or if their responsibility for past problems differs from their own policy, then they want you to leave; so do it. They want people to stay who do not question the clergy, leadership or policies. None of the past Popes have given clear and strict policies on these difficult topics so I doubt that the individual Catholic Churches have clear policies. Does this reason best describe your situation?
Reason 6) Protestant denominations are not immune to false doctrine and secular pastors. Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian, Wesleyan, Lutheran, etc., pastors can be corrupted by secularism too. Some pastors can cave-in, under the pressure to compromise their values to blend in with contemporary, topical, mainstream media.
Issues such as compromising the Gospel to increase Church growth and inclusiveness; compromising on gender reassignment and gay marriage as not being sinful; preaching one-sided political agendas as though they are scripture topics; the false doctrine of emphasizing health and financial prosperity as though they are scripture; the false doctrine of preaching that there are many ways to heaven, not just the Biblical Way, to include many other books by contemporary so-called new prophets; teaching secularism instead of the Gospel; the false doctrine that the act of taking Communion or being Baptized will make you become a Christian; the false doctrine that you are not a Christian until you can speak in Tongues; and the false doctrine that the Holy Spirit will possess parishioners to bark like dogs, laugh hysterically, roll on the ground and twitch uncontrollably, make sparkle dust appear on the ground, make colored glass "jewels" appear on the ground, etc.
Does this reason best describe your situation? Were you the victim of a supposed Christian Pastor who taught false doctrine?
Reason 7) A Religious Family Member. You haven't gone to Church since Sunday School, and now you are an adult. You can't remember but a few stories about Adam and Eve, Noah and the Flood, and the Easter bunny. You have a family member who is the "Religious One", and you rely solely on their interpretations and summarizations but in fact you have no way of telling if they are correct or not, after all you both rely on Southpark, Family Guy and the Simpsons because their writers are very knowlegable about all of the various religions.
Does this reason best describe your sitiation?
Reason 8) People claiming to be Christian. You stopped going to Sunday School when you were a kid and now you are an adult but you have no idea of what the Bible is about, just basic, three or four word definitions of: Creation, Adam and Eve, the Flood, the ten Commandments, Prophets, Disciples, Crucifixion and the Resurrection. By chance, you have listened to Christians and non-Christian's argue about the Big Bang, the Flood, the date of Jesus' birthday, abortion, etc. You recall that the Christians usually lost the arguments because they are not scientific enough, got mad and yelled, "You are going to Hell!"
It seems to you that everyone claims to be a Christian: the Judaists (through Abraham), the Muslims (through Abraham), the Catholics, the Protestants, the Mormons, the Jehovah's Witness, the Scientologists, the moonies, cult leaders, Hitler, Son of Sam, Charles Manson, beloved family pets, etc.
Who really knows which are Christian and which are not? There is a basic rule, "If they say that they are Christian, then they are Christian."
Does this reason best describe your situation?
Reason 9) Other; none of the above fits my situation.
