We are Christians

My wife and I are Christians, this means that we recognize that the Bible is God's Word and that there is only one True God and the rest of the gods are just various forms of paganism with false prophets and false books. 

God tells us that we have sins and that these sins need to be forgiven to have salvation.  No amount of being a good person, doing good works will erase even one tiny sin.  If we ignore this fact then when we eventually die, then our sins are un-forgiven.  If we die before asking for forgiveness then the penalty, as un-forgiven pagans, is eternity in hell with the other good people and unbelievers.  On the other hand if we feel the weight and burden and consequence of our sin and we repent of our sins and then ask for the forgiveness of our sins then we will be forgiven; this is called Righteousness and Justification.  But we must do this while we are alive, before we die.  We cannot wait until we die to finally see God and then to ask for the forgiveness of our sins. 

My wife and I recognized that we have sins and that these sins need to be forgiven by the Savior, Messiah, Son of God, Christ, by Jesus in order to have salvation.  We have felt the guilt, consequence and burden of our sins and have repented of our sins and asked Jesus for the forgiveness of our sins; Jesus forgave all of our sins, past, present and future.  This started a new life for us; we are now forgiven beings and our destination of salvation is granted.  

This does not mean that we live the rest of our lives sinless, we still sin occasionally, and we ask for strength in the areas that we are weak in; this is called Sanctification.  But these sins will never put us back to the un-forgiven state again.  We are forgiven, Jesus forgave us and God granted us salvation.  The Bible is Good News!  Salvation is Good News!

We are Lay-People

My wife and I are regular people in the Church.  We do not have any impressive titles or formal Theological credentials.   God's Word is easily readable and easily understandable as long as you let the Holy Spirit guide and help you.  We have read the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation.  Over the years we have taught Sunday school, youth groups, retreats, VBS, Bible studies and have gone on vision trips and on short term mission trips.  Only Christians are qualified to teach the Bible, God's Word, Christianity.  No amount of impressive credentials can circumvent this important fact, yet many secularists try in vain.

We are Engineers

My wife and I are engineers by education and by profession.  My wife has a Masters in Architecture and I have a Bachelor's in Computer Science.  My wife has worked 16 years in Architecture and I have worked 28 years in Aerospace.  Many mockers, secularists, atheists and pagans try to pit science against faith.  We believe in God's blessings in math, medicine, engineering and science.  It is a mockery to try to pit the two against each other.  They complement each other; they do not contradict each other.  Do not be tricked into choosing one or the other.  Don't be bullied by the mockers, choose both!  Science and faith in God!

I am also an Author

I am also an aspiring author specializing in Christian writings.  I am working on Christian books, study guides and articles and this Christian website.
